Hi, Can i add to this: I presume this is for tier1(g) applications.
I would like to draw your attention towards guidance notes for mainteneance section: "Ad hoc bank statements printed on the bank’s letterhead/stationery are admissible as evidence (this excludes mini-statements from cash points)."
Interesting enough: Above statement is not given in section of caliming points for previous earnings, there they only talk about electronic statements.
Then what is the definition of "bank stationery"?
I don't want to confuse you but just presented my own assessment. Lets see what other senior members have to say:

I am planning to apply on 4th April and just found out that one bank statement is missing.I went to nationwide bank to get a copy and they printed me the statement on their letter head, but they refused to sign and stamp on it.
Will home office acceptt it
Aneesh
If the printed bank statement satisfies the criteria :
On official bank statement, on the letter head
with bank logo and details
Ur account no
bank sort code
Ur name and address
Then it is absolutely fine
