Tier Dependent Appeal Process

Post by cherrypie » Mon Apr 02, 2012 11:50 pm

Hi guys,

Please could anyone provide some advice regarding the appeal process for a Tier 1 Dependent. I have had a look at all the different websites and have an idea of what needs to be done but if anybody could provide some advice/personal experience I would really appreciate it.

Please help...

Cheers,
N

The information you seek depends completely on the reason for the refusal.

The reason for refusal is because the bank statement showing maintenance funds is date more than a month prior to boimetrics submission. However, it appears the case officer has made a mistake because the date the case officer is looking at is the date of the last transaction on the account which was 03/02/2012.

Timeline is as follows:
Date bank statement is dated: 24/02/2012
Date online application submitted: 29/02/2012
Date of biometrics enrollment: 07/03/2012

The decision says my husband has limited right to appeal under section 84(1)(c).

Any help you could provide will be highly appreciated.

Thanks,
N

The right of appeal should not be limited. Does it explain further in the letter why the eco believes this?
