Employment Gap

Post by mohanmohan » Tue Apr 03, 2012 12:11 am

Hello,

I am on Tier-1 VISA and my ILR is due on 10th December 2012. Hence I am looking to apply on 15th November 2012. The problem I am facing is that my current permanent employment will end on 30th April 2012 due to redundancy. I am able to secure a 2 months Contract that will start from 1st June 2012.

To cover the consecutive earning period from last 15 months, I will be greatfull if someone kindly advise me on following: -

Will that be ok to show earnings of 9 months (Aug 2011 to April 2012) + 1 month Gap + 2 month new contract (June - July 2012)? These 12 month can provide me required earning points. As there will be a gap of 1 month between my current employment that is ending 30th April and the new contract starting at 1st June 2012. Will this have any affact on calculating consecutive period?

Thanks in advance.
