Tier-1 (General) Extension- Irregular Salary

Dear All,

I have found this forum to be extremely helpful and thought I would like to share my experience- maybe it could be of help to others..

I am a salaried person and my application was straightforward. However, the hitch was that the salary disbursal from the company to me was extremely irregular with salaries being as late as 6 months and then 3-4 months being paid in one go.

In addition to normal documents, I submitted a letter from my CA which matched the pay-slip amount with the salary amount in my bank statements. I also submitted a letter from the company explaining the reasoning behind the late and irregular payments (bad economy conditions etc).

These worked and I got my approval this week.
