dual national, expired passport with valid Tier 1 visa

Post by starmab4321 » Thu Apr 05, 2012 1:30 pm

I'm a dual national (Canadian and Pakistani). My valid Tier 1 visa is on my Pakistan passport, which has now expired. I plan to travel to Europe and re-enter UK using my Canadian passport since I won't be able to use my expired Pakistan passport. Will there be any issues that I can expect to face? Because I plan on renewing my Pakistan passport but just don't have time to do so before this trip. Any info would be helpful.

On re-entry the UK Border Agency staff may ask you as to the purpose of your visit:

I guess the link would suggest that I may run info issues, which is bizzarely redundant and stupid to begin with, but I guess those are the rules.
