New SET(O) form ... confused!!

Post by pkumar » Thu Apr 05, 2012 11:24 pm

Seniors ... Really confused and worried ....

Came on HSMP in 2008 ... Extension on Tier 1 granted on 10th April 2010 ... ILR due 2013.

Couple of confusion in the form

1)Section 3 - Wich Category?
Do I fall under "Section B"? coz for Section B one DOES NOT need to fill Points Score Assessment section 9.
If I tick "Tier 1" in Section A then I need to fill Points Score Assessment Section 9.

2) Section 9 - A7. Please confirm points being claimed for total earnings.

Applications for indefinite leave to remain where an applicant has had leave as a Writer, Composer or Artist, self-employed lawyer, or as a Tier 1 (general) Migrant under the rules in place before 6 April 2010

Applications for indefinite leave to remain where previous leave as a Tier 1 (General) Migrant was granted under the rules in place on or after 6 April 2010

Which one of the above do I fall? ... for second one you need to earn igh salary to gain points ...

I have heard many times that same rules apply when application first came in ... but i came on HSMP for the first time and then eventually got Tier 1 (as part of extention) ...

Thanks a ton!

You need to select Section A on page 9.

You fall for the fist table in A7.
