Getting pregnant while on Tier 2 visa

Post by atlasgirl » Fri Apr 06, 2012 2:21 pm

Hi,

I'm wondering if anyone has any advice. I have the Tier 2 general visa and just want to check what the situation with having a baby while on this visa is. I'm pretty sure my company will provide my maternity care no problem and that this qualifies as 'working' during the few months I'd need off but I can't find any notes about this on any official site. My partner and I don't have any immediate plans but want to know what our options are if we do decide to have a baby while I'm on this visa.

Any advice would be appreciated!

Thanks

Ukba has no problem with anyone having babies on any visas anytime as long as you don't take public funds... Maternity exemption is not public funds
Have fun and have kids... Don't think too much😃
