maintenance funds query

with reference to above, my dependant have arrived in uk 6 months ago. i'm applying in july.

for tier 1 extension do i need to maintain 800 + 533 or 800 + 1600 ?

please clarify.

You did not mention how long you have been in the UK but if you are extending we can assume it's longer than 12 months. Furthermore you have correctly indicated the price increase in June but then cited the older figures even though you say you will be applying in July. On that basis it will be 900 + 600

Dependents of Tier 1 applicants who have been in the UK for less than 12 months

£1,600

£1,800

what that mean and what is that for ? My dependant is <12 months in UK.

I'm on hsmp and tier 1 i have long absence tht y i'm going for 2nd extension for safer side

I've already answered your question. That is the money you need to show on account for 3 months.

because they are crazy these days if i book at peo and they deduct money and then they say we can;t give you cause you lack of mainteneace funds...

I'm in UK more than 12 months not my wife.

The duration of stay mentioned in the rules is for Main applicant.

If Main applicant is in UK for more than 12 months, then less funds are required to be shown for dependants.

You will need to show £900 (For main applicant) + £600 (for each dependent)
