Visitor Visa Decision Letter - Wrong Correspondece Email

Hi there,
I applied a visitor visa for my uncle from Pakistan. In the application form the correspondence email was wrongly spelled (instead of gmail, "gnail" was typed), now I do not have access to the decision letter since it was sent on a wrong email. VFS simply returned the submitted documents and said we do not have access to the decision email.

I am wondering how can I request that decision letter or request to re-send the email on a correct email address.

Any idea of how long it will take to get the decision letter in the post. I am assuming this will applicant's address in Pakistan.
