When to apply for ILR

Hi - just a quick query I am intending to apply for set m as partner of British citizen 5 year route. My visa expires in July and my 5 years have been completed in March. Do I have to wait till 28 days before my visa expires or I can apply straightaway.

You can apply no sooner than within 28 days before the 5th anniversary of the date you ENTERED the UK on your initial spouse visa (note 6 month fiance visa does not count).

Just to clarify

Entered UK on 14/3/2014 on 2and a half year spouse visa.

Got further extension of 30 months till 14/7/19

5 years completed in March 2019 - do I have to wait till mid June to apply.

You could have applied already in February.

As long as you apply anytime before your visa expires, no issue.
