Wife visa refused Advice please

Post by SG8 » Thu Jan 28, 2016 7:12 am

My wife visa is refused and reason given is that out of the 6 salary slip submitted, three of the amount doesn't correspond to the amount paid into account. I hadn't even noticed the discrepancy, the amount is 9 pence. Clearly it is the fault of my employer. My employer uses an accounting firm for their payroll and he is taking the issue to them. My question is what are my chances of success if I appeal with a letter from the accountant taking responsibility for their fault and paying that small difference to my account? Or is it better to reapply?
Any advice is much appreciated.

Submit the Accountant's letter and ask for a reconsideration.

Dont re apply they are refusing on silly things even by missing their important documents. Its a very simple thing to resolve at review stage ,lodge an appeal and you will resolve this issue within 3 to 4 months maximum.
Could you please tell me from where yours wife applying ?

I suggested a re-consideration, not an appeal.

Could you please explain the procedure of asking Home office reconsideration as far my personal experience is concerned Home office complaint department does not respond until 20 working days and usually it replies to do appeal if you have right to do it.And in these 20 working days an applicant will loose to do appeal right.
Please @casa do correct me if I'm wrong ?

Thank you for your responses. She has been given the option to appeal but there is no Re-consideration option? It does however say that with the appeal submission, it maybe possible to resolve the issue without an appeal hearing.
I understand that appeals can drag on for months on end...so that was why thinking better to just reapply. How do we go about requesting a re- consideration? Application was submitted to Delhi and turnaround was very quick... Notification email received within 4 days of biometric submission.
