Working for Home Country on Tier 2 ICT Dependent Visa

My wife has got an opportunity to work in UK on a Tier 2 ICT visa. Once she is in UK, I can also go to UK on dependent visa and will have a work permit.

The question is can i continue to work for my current employer in my home country from UK as some "Work from Home" kind of option or does it needs to be a UK sponsor only. I will not be taking UK salary but only be working for Home country and working for the same employer as earlier. It will just be a location change so that I can live with my wife in UK.

You don't need a 'sponsor' if you are on a Tier 2 Dependent visa. You can work or not work at all if you choose to.

But my question is if I work for an employer from Home country, will there be any legal implications. Tier 2 Dependent are allowed to work in UK but is there any rule related to their working for a foreign employer and still be the tax payee of that specific country only.
