5 year track to ILR at tier 1 entrepreneur

hello,
i have been told by a lot of people that staying lawfully for 5 years other than student status can make you eligible for a ILR at a 5 year track. considering the fact that i was at tier 1 post study work visa which is 2 years (dec 2010--- dec 2012) and now i am at tier 1 entrepreneur and my extension is due in dec 2015 (dec 2012--- dec 2015). the period of time is 5 years altogether and both the categories are tier 1. so is it possible to apply for ILR or stick to the extension under tier 1 entrepreneur. Does the tier 1 post study work visa comes in this 5 year count or not?
because it seems that both visa comes under tier 1 category. Please advice.

Tier 1 PSW visa is not countable for ILR based on 5 years residence. It will only be counted for 10 years long residence applications.
