I recently got my flr (m) before this i was on tier 4 general visa for 21months. I shall be thankful to you if you tell me how much time shall i spend in UK to apply for ILR. My husband is british citizen.

if you applied for flr(m) after 9 july 2012, you will have to wait 5 years on flr(m) before you can apply for ilr.

Indeed, I stand by what I said. If the applicant was a pbs dep prior to July 2012 and applied for FLR(M) [before the pbs dep leave expired] then the person would have transitional protection as per A280(c) and thus may apply for SET(M) as per 287(a)(i)(d).

However, you are saying you were not a pbs dep prior to July 2012 and thus no transitional protection.

Two months shouldn't be any issue. For SET(M) only absences of 6 or more months are requested so they'll not really look at it.

For SET(M), the question is:

Please provide details of any periods of absence of more than 6 months during that time.

I'll allow you to judge the interpretation of that.

Remember that they will have sight of your passport should there be any stamps showing absences.

I would really appreciate your response on this question because I am not sure if I can travel any further or not

For Set(M) they only ask you to list absence of 6 months or more, i.e. single absence of that time period. If you are on holiday for 2 weeks, you are not required to list that but if you are in your home country for say 7 months, you need to list the absence.
