kierton59 wrote:Hi,
Any help is very much appreciated. I am applying for a further 2.5 years after my partners initial stay on her spouse visa.
Enrolling Biometrics
From reading the guidelines around this am I right to say once we have sent off all the forms/evidence the home office will send us a request for biometric data enrolment? Is it this form we take to the post office? Yes
Finance
In section 7 (financial requirement) we have answered questions about both our employment but my salary (The sponsor) meets the financial requirement alone. Am I ok to just submit my employment letter/pay slips/bank statements ? My partner has moved jobs in past 3 months and it gets more complicated providing her evidence. You can just submit your own
My partners visa expires on 01/08/2015, would I be ok to submit everything middle of July or is this leaving it late? No problem as her status will remain the same while the application is being decided.
Any help is much appreciated.
Thank you in advance !
Are you applying from UK or from abroad? (I assume from UK).kierton59 wrote:Hi,
When applying by post do I need to include a pre-paid recorded delivery envelope for them to send the documents/passports etc back to me?
Thanks
Is the spouse visa the same as FLR?We will return your passport(s) and other documents by Recorded Delivery. If you would like them to be returned by Special Delivery, you must provide a prepaid Special Delivery envelope which is large enough
Your post is confusing as you mention applying for 'a spouse visa'. What category of visa have you applied for? FLR(M)? If so, how many documents have you submitted as evidence that you have been living together? As a general rule, the case worker will want to see one proof of joint address every 4 months. If you have nothing in joint names, you would have to submit 12 examples spread as evenly as possible over the 2.5 year period.kierton59 wrote:Hi,
Recently applied for a spouse visa but the HO are asking for more documentary evidence that we have been cohabiting together. We have submitted what we have in respect of this letters from bank, joint account etc but they want more. We are struggling to find letters dating back over the last 2.5 years. We have a few recent items sent to us in 2015 but nothing really dating back and what we did have dating back we have already submitted.
Is there anything I can do to solve this?
Thank you in advance, any help is very much appreciated.
You have a long immigration journey ahead of you so the best thing you can do is read up, in advance, on the next visa in the pipeline.kierton59 wrote:We have applied for FLR(M). As we are living with parents our names are not on any of the bills etc and so we are struggling to get documents every 4 months. We have submitted a few joint account statements and individual letters but they are spaced out. We have quite a few recent documents in 2015 which we can send them by mail but are struggling a bit for the more dated correspondence. Is there anything we can do? Phone them to explain? etc?
Submit everything you can find to fill any significant gaps, including anything that has your names and post code. It doesn't have to be bills or official documents, even junk mail would be acceptable if you have nothing else. Do you have GP registration? Include a letter explaining your situation. It's positive that you've been given the opportunity to submit more information.kierton59 wrote:Hi,
Yes my mum and dad wrote a letter confirming we have stayed with them for the full duration of the visa and both signed the letter. We didn't include an explanation why we couldn't provide the documents, as the documents we did provide did cover their requirements in terms of the number of documents but I think what they now want is the "spread evenly across the 2.5 years" which we are struggling with. When I send the additional documents we do have should I include a note to saying as we are living with parents and so our names are not on the utility bills/ council tax bills as so we are struggling to find documents evenly spread over the 2.5 year period. Would this assist our application?
Is there anything else you think will help us?
Thanks
Print off any bill/statement you have and ask your issuing bank to sign & stamp your online statements. If you haven't been given a GP registration card or letter, ask your GP's surgery if they could give you any written confirmation. Don't worry, you should be fine.kierton59 wrote:Thank you so much, yes we are both registered with our local GP and I will include something to this effect. I will definitely be explaining in a letter the situation.
I also have online credit card statements, pay slips, and utility bills that contain my address and cover the whole period. Can I print these and explain I signed up to electronic statements? Perhaps the bank ones can be stamped by my local Halifax to verify?
