Spouse Visa application Queries

Post by TheWisdom » Sun Nov 15, 2015 7:55 am

Hi members,
I have a question about income threshold and spouse visa. My wife is planing to apply for spouse visa from a non-EEA country to join me in UK. My income is good enough to sponsor her, but I have a question about my job.

From September 2014 to September 2015, I was working with some other company (salary was £25000+ per year)
From October , for only 4 weeks, I worked with some other company and then I resigned. (because I got better job offer, salary package was same here £25000+ per year)
From November 2015 (this month), I have started a new job with better salary (£30000+ per year).

So my question is this, that as I have just started my new job. Can my wife apply for the spouse visa? As I do not have worked with this company for six months so far, just started, BUT i'm earning continuously £25000+ from September 2015 without any gap.

your replies will me much appropriated members.

You should be looking at Category B.

Thanks for providing me this pdf link. It was very helpful.

But I was trying to find, that if somebody has just started some new job, how many minimum months he/she has to work to be the sponsor? As it is already explained that he/she does not need to have work for 6 months, if his/her last 12 months salary is fulfilling the required income threshold. For example in my case, my income for last 12 months is £25000+ but I have just started this new job this month. Can my wife apply for spouse visa? Once I will get my first salary slip with this new job?

Possible?

hi guys, my question is depending on your Yes or NO :| , actually before spending £3000+ for my family visas, I wanted to be sure about my salary issue. Otherwise, little mistake can put my this big amount of money in bin.

I hope you can understand.

Spouse Visa application Queries

Post by TheWisdom » Mon Dec 14, 2015 12:04 pm

Hi Members,
I'm confused about something. if you go to the following link you will read
http://www.immigrationboards.com/immigr ... 93554.html
11. If your spouse has been fortunate enough to be granted a visa and are now coming to the UK, make sure they bring their valid TB certificate with them, as they will be required to show it on arrival into the UK.
I'm confused that do I have to send my wife's TB test certificate with the visa application OR she just need to show this certificate on her arrival into UK only?

Thanks in advance for the answers or replies.

Which one First? FedEx or Sheffield ?

Post by TheWisdom » Mon Dec 14, 2015 12:17 pm

Hi Members,
I'm trying to apply the spouse visa for my wife. She is in Pakistan. I have filled up the online form but I'm confused about few things. And it will be a great help if some of you can guide me. I'm very confused about that Who will have to have the printout of online application in hand? will it be My wife in Pakistan before go to FedEx after getting the appointment or will it be "Me" who will have to take the printout of this online application and then send with to Sheffield.

ALSO, I don't know that do I have to send the application too Sheffield at first? OR My wife has to go to the FedEx first in Pakistan, for giving the biometric?

Your answers will be much appreciated. Thanks in advance mates.

question abut housing inspection

Post by TheWisdom » Mon Dec 14, 2015 4:12 pm

Hi Members,
I have just got a flat on rent last week, from a letting agency. 2 bedroom flat with one living room. To apply the spouse visa from Pakistan, my wife will come with my few months old daughter.

I need to know that do I need Housing Inspection first of all? If Yes, then what things the housing inspection team/person would like to see? Just the number of beds and condition of house? or he/she would like to see the complete furniture , sofas, carpets, child bed, dining table etc etc as well.

Because I just got this flat last week and I'm rush to get this inspection to apply for the visa, once the wife+daughter will get the visa, then I want to buy the proper furniture.

so do you have any idea?

By the way, can I apply for the spouse visa for my wife + daugther's visa, just after one or two week of getting the flat on rent?

So two questions at same time.

Please reply. thanks

Dear CR001,
you said that I do not need Housing Inspection, thanks for the answer, I really appreciate, it seems that I can save some money. But could you please tell me that Who needs this Housing Inspection? If I don't need.

It is good to save the money mate :) , but I don't want to put the thousands of pound on risk to save this £125 for housing inspection. That's why I'm asking you this question, for double check. I hope you don't mind.

Looking forward for reply.
thanks

the weblink you provided above shows
• Housing Inspection Report for Immigration Purposes

• This report can be obtained from your local Council (cost between £75- 125) or local Estate agents. The report will briefly outline the condition and state of the property, how many rooms it has, how many occupants intend to reside there. This is to ensure the property is habitable and is not overcrowded.

What would you say about this guide ? Could you please put some light on it.

thanks

It is a guide, thats it, not the rules. There is no requirement to submit a property inspection report if you have a tenancy agreement etc for you and your family.

All detailed in the link that I have already provided a few posts above if you read it carefully. Update of Spouse Visa Applications from Paksitan (click), if you scroll down to "How to apply and complete form online" (which is after the paragraph/heading on NHS Surcharge Fee), it has been detailed very nicely by Batleykhan, step by step.

Details of the accommodation that you and your sponsor intend to live in and permission for you to stay there along with evidence of any other occupants.
This could include:
 Land Registry documents
 mortgage statements
 rent book or tenancy agreement
 council tax statements
 property inspection report
 utilities bills
 accommodation details with a supporting letter from the occupant/ landlord confirming that you are able to stay there

any comment about the post above, CR001 is senior member, he said I don't need to have/show "property inspection report", which is good and handy to save the money, and I do appreciate the replies of the CR001. But UK Gov documents says something else. any comment from senior members?

Could implies possibility. It's different from must or should. I don't think property inspection reports are mandatory. I don't think that caseworkers' instructions mentions them.

I have an out of the topic question, if you people can give the answer please. I avoided to post a new question to ask this thing.

The question that Does Personal Loan from bank creates negative impact on sponsors status to apply for the spouse visa for UK? If the amount is just around £5000 only??

Any idea / knowledge?

I just got two bedroom flat on rent 1.5 week ago, I have not got any utility bill so far. May I apply for the settlement visa for my wife and daughter. Or it not recommended from you guys under your experience/knowledge?
if NO, then then when I should apply?

I think this question will help others as well. Who are planing to get the accommodation for settlement visa application.
