Check the ‘checklist’ file instead of application form file.bookerw100 wrote: ↑Tue Oct 09, 2018 5:36 pmhi
I recently finished application for spouse visa. I paid for IHS online. and also paid for my appointment online.
I am applying from outside the UK
When I paid for IHS, the website said "we will make sure we will include your IHS reference in your application"
but upon finishing the payment for the appointment, when I downloaded my application form, it doesn't have IHS referenced anywhere on the form.
Am I missing anything? if not on the printed online form, where will IHS payment reference go? only appendix 2?
Great, congratulations.bookerw100 wrote: ↑Fri Nov 30, 2018 12:32 pm
From Delhi you can opt to pay VFS to send your documents directly to Sheffield but they charge around £100 for upto 1kg of documents, defo not worth it as it takes a while to reach UK too, not quick. I sent the original and photocopies of documents from the UK on 1st November with special delivery and it reached them on 2nd November but I only had the royal mail receipt,
Yes, you will need 2 years evidence of cohabitation etc.Is there any documents or something we should start to keep hold off - proof of staying together or something? I wanted to get her name on council tax but they won't do it without my wife's name on the tenancy agreement. The thing is any new agreement will be of 6 months which I don't want to sign.
I have registered her on the voting
Any other ways we can start to collect documents..or just anything else we should be aware of that will help us later down the line - any comments appreciated
thanks for the response and link, however it is a bit unclear from the form - do we need 2 years from when the spouse first moved in together or 2 years prior to the date of the application as the visa is for 2.5 years?CR001 wrote: ↑Tue Jan 22, 2019 10:09 amYes, you will need 2 years evidence of cohabitation etc.Is there any documents or something we should start to keep hold off - proof of staying together or something? See page 63/64 of the old FLR(M) form which gives examples of what HO expects to see.

You will also need to meet the same financial requirement and she will need A2 English (as the rule stands now) but can do B1 so that she has it for ILR.
