Visa Application Preparation

Post by poor_soul » Sat Oct 03, 2020 8:20 pm

Hi Friends,

I hope you are staying safe and healthy.

Background:
My Ireland CSWP application is in progress. My prospective employer in Ireland is a trusted partner. I am an Indian currently based in Singapore on employment pass.

Situation:
One of the questions in the entry visa form asks "Do you have permission to return to your present country after your stay in Ireland?". The truthful answer to this question will be "no" as my Singapore employment pass will be cancelled when I leave Singapore to work in Ireland.

This means that I will return to India from Ireland, if and when required. Which also means that I will have to satisfy visa officer that I will return to India if and when required.

I read some posts on this and other forums regarding common visa rejection reasons even after CSWP has been approved. Few reasons I read and my questions pertaining to those reasons were following:

Questions:

1) Insufficient evidence of strong obligations to return to your home country.
EXPLANATION: I will be providing bank statement of my account in Singapore - more from financial strength and current employment confirmation perspective. What shall I provide as "evidence of strong obligations to return to your home country"? I am thinking of providing: (a) bank statement of my savings accounts in India and (b) statement of mutual funds investment in India. I also have property in India. Should I provide proof of that? Anything else that can satisfy visa officer on the question/condition without confusing him/her?

2) OC:- Observe the conditions of the visa - the visa sought is for a specific purpose and duration:- the applicant has not satisfied the visa officer that such conditions would be observed
EXPLANATION: The employment contract is of indefinite duration. What shall I provide to satisfy visa officer here?

3) I hope providing documents from two countries (like bank statement of Singapore and India with respective country addresses) wouldn't confuse visa officer.
EXPLANATION: Any suggestion/guidance on this or any other issue you for see in my situation?

Looking forward to your detailed responses to help me take appropriate steps. Thanks.
