Hi,
I am currently in the process of preparing for my SET(LR) application.
I arrived in the UK on 03/09/2011 and so I will complete my qualifying period on 03/09/2021.
Since then, I have been on Child Student and General Student visas, and my current visa expires on 11/08/2021.
According to the Home Office guidance, my application can be made 28 days or less before I complete the required qualifying period. And so, according to the guidance, the earliest date I can apply will be 06/08/2021.
I am intending to use the Super Priority Service if it is available. However, I have just read an UKVI response on WhatDoTheyKnow page:
"The application can be made in-person at a Premium Service Centre within the 28 day qualifying period, provided the applicant's visa covers them up to a full 10 years of legal residence in the United Kingdom.
Please be advised that under the Immigration Rules, the applicant must have at least 10 years continuous lawful residence in the UK in order to make the application, or have a visa which covers them up to a full 10 years of legal residence in the United Kingdom at the time of applying."
My question is - since my current visa does not cover my full 10 years of legal residence, does it mean that I should not use the Super Priority Service before 03/09/2021?
Given that I have satisfied all the other requirements, will my application be refused if I attend a Super Priority appointment before 03/09/2021?
Thank you so much for your time!
