Hi Zimba,
If the Home Office clearly stated what the min. "Adequate Maintenance"
figure/amount needed to be (like they do for salary 18,600 or savings
62,500) then NO it would not be "ridiculous", but as it is (with so many
possible variables) it’s all guesswork and a lottery!
What the hell does:
"there must be available to the family the level of income that would be
available to them if the family was in receipt of Income Support"
Does Income Support even exist now?
QUOTE:
https://www.gov.uk/income-support
"You can no longer make a new claim for Income Support. If you’re on a low
income and need help to cover your living costs, you can apply for Universal
Credit instead".
So... what does "income support" really mean and what's it comprised of? Does
it include any and all other various possible add-on benefits, and premiums
or that alone? For calculation purposes is the figure in addition too, or
instead of, what one is currently receiving in DLA and Carers allowance?
Big difference.
I don’t wish to sound rude, but rather than sounding like a Home Office
apologist, if you genuinely think their formula is so very easy and
guidelines so crystal clear, why not simply tell me the answer/amount
required for my particular case?
I already posted my situation and all my figures to plug-in?
If you are actually able to help with a figure it would be much appreciated.
Thanks
