I started my application ILR ( Ancestry) and when I filled out that my son lives elsewhere they have not asked for any details ...At which stage will they ask Im worried about prooving he is dependant especially since he is now on a degree apprenticeship . My wife ( dependant) is teh main bread winner but here as well have not asked for her incomes etc is this asked after we pay

Likely won't ask about your son.

Your wife as your visa dependent income is irrelevant. It is your work/income etc that is relevant to the ilr application as the main ancestry visa holder.

I think both wife and son may be included with your ILR application. All are subject to the KoLL requirements.

Thanks guys for responses . the following is what I received from someone (Financial requirement: the assessment is generally adequate maintenance. This is: A - all and any income/savings for applicants over 18 minus B - costs for housing and council tax calculated per week should be greater than C - this is income support for a family of your size. From your description, you'd meet a financial assessment unless your housing costs are significantly higher than average. ) .
I hope this is the case becaus emy wife earns way more than me ... she is entitled to her own Ancestry but we are applying together ...not sure if that is the best route . We want t leave out our sons income since it might confuse things about him being a student

Applying for ILR together as a family under U.K. Ancestry is probably best as there isn’t any qualifying period for dependants’ ILRs.
