For answer to the rest of your queries, please read "Previous Earnings" section of the Tier 1 (General) policy guidance (para 97 onwards).Tier 1 (Geneeral) policy guidance > Para 35 wrote:If we make checks on an applicant who is self-employed we will try to establish the business presence, for example by checking business and/or tax registration.
On the other hand, Tier 1 (G) policy guidance clearly states:Tier 1 PSW policy guidance wrote:Successful applicants will be free to seek employment without having a sponsor for the duration of their Tier 1 (Post-Study Work) leave.
It will be in your interest to ascertain from the horse's mouth (UKBA) wthether you are allowed to work as self-employed on a Tier 1 PSW visa. Because, if you are not allowed to but are doing so you'll be in breach of the immigration rules and therefore not eligible to apply for Tier 1 (G).Tier 1 G policy guidance wrote:Successful applicants will be free to seek employment without having a sponsor or to take up self-employment/business opportunities in the UK.
