Applied: 10 June 09 (Croydon NCS)
Applied Under Section 1(3)
Acknowledgement Letter Received: 19 June 09
Payment deducted: 21 June (paid by cheque £460)
Registration Certicate received: 26 June Dated (23 June 09)
Thats just about 2 weeks to complete. Child was born here in UK and did not have ILR.
I went with my passport and wife's passport with our ILR's (only one was required but the NCS registrar said since i had them there she might as well copy them) and birth certicate which was also copied so i left with my originals.
Also the application did NOT have any referees. Hope this helps those struggling to get referees for their babies

goody09 wrote:Hi there,
For MN1 registration, any section that you got answer for you should fill it in, in my case my child was just born in UK last Dec and we did not go anywhere since birth so there was many sections that I left it without answer and there was any problem also for the refree any body he knows you for last three years even if he she is a family friend, so you should not worry at all
Best wishes

TC wrote:Hi,
I am applying for registration of my children born in UK before I got ILR using MN1 form under Section 1(3). I need some help filling in the form. Thanks in advance.
Do I need to fill Section 2: Residence requirements?
2.1 Date of arrival? My Chidren are born in UK
2.2 Details on other parent's address??
2.3 Absences. Does it need to be filled for Section 1(3)?
Section 3. Parent's Residence in the UK and absences. Do I need to fill this section as it does not matter to make a decision based on Section 1(3)?
Section 5. Referees.
Can a doctor who know us personally act as the first referee?
I am not planning to use NCS and help with the above would be appreciated as I do not want my application rejected.
Thanks.

No baby did not have a passport. I dont remember now, i will see if i still have a copy of the form. I dont think it actually matters though, you could put N/a or your nationality whichever is most applicablesailor wrote:@f2k, I NEED SOME HELP PLEASE. I suppose so but there was no request (on the form and guide) to send parents passport, only asked when parent got ILRJohn wrote:An interpretation of that is that you have not sent any proof that the parents have ILR.TC wrote:Did you send either of the parent's passports? I think you are OK with the MN1 for the older child but am not sure about the Passport for younger as when applying for the passport they also ask for registration certificate which you do not have.RayJay wrote:We have got PR (EEA route).
Older child born in UK before we got PR, younger one after we got PR.
Can we send MN1 for Older one now?
What about the younger one? Apply for Passport direct?
thanks

Second child is already British and hence no need for registration. Apply for passport directly with proof that parent had ILR at the time of birth.petra wrote:I think you are OK with the MN1 for the older child but am not sure about the Passport for younger as when applying for the passport they also ask for registration certificate which you do not have.RayJay wrote:We have got PR (EEA route).
