mbasmart wrote:Hi, I'm in UK on Tier 1 General visa, since Nov 2009. Now, my wife and kids are going to apply for Entry Clearance as my dependents. I am submitting a tenancy agreement, but no council tax letter. Actually, I haven't received any council tax letter as yet, becoz we signed the tenancy agreement in May 2010. I just wanted to know that how critical is this council tax letter? Can the visa be refused on the basis that no council tax letter has been submitted? If you guys can reply to my query quickly, I'll be able to arrange a letter from council.
Second question is that the tenancy agreement has been signed by myself and a friend of mine who stays in the same house (shared accommodation). Should I submit a 'no objection' letter from my friend that he has no objection if my wife and kids come to this house and stay here? Or do u reckon it is not required???
An early response shall be highly appreciated...
