10 years long residency ILR visa questions

Hello All,

I need to clarify a few things before I apply for my ILR next month.

1)What documents are required to apply for 10 years long residence ILR?

2)My wife is my dependant will she need to apply at the same time as me for set (M) application?

3) I registerd myself as being self employed and have not paid my taxes for the last couple of months,does this affect my ilr application?do the homeoffice get informed if someone dosent pay there council/income tax bills?

What leave have you and your wife got currently?
When will they expire?

I have a tier 1 Visa and my wife is my dependant to it.

Visa expires in 2013.

I wanted to ask a few more questions if I was to successfully recive my ILR

1)How soon should my wife apply for FLR(M) once I recive my ILR?

2)Why can't me and my wife apply at the same time for ILR & FLR(M)?

3)What would be my wife visa status if I recive my ILR & she is still a dependant on my old visa?

4)How long would my wife have to be on a FLR(M) to recive her ILR, she has been my dependant in the UK for over a year now?

1. Immediately.
2. Probably cheaper to wait in case you're refused/rejected for any reason.
3. See ILR and Dependent VISA together or seperate.
4. When combined periods under Tier 1 dependant and FLR(M) = 2 years.

In regards to Question 3...It is still not clear to me wether she will be legal or not once my visa has changed to ilr?would you be able to clear up confusion please..

Secondly in regards for my wife to apply for ILR, does she have apply immediatley as soon I recive my ilr or can a delay of a month be allowed??

1. Dependant of Tier 1 (General) migrant.

Delay is ok as long as she does not travel outside UK

I recived my SAR report but there is no mention of all my arrival/departure for the last 10 years.

I do have all the passports for the last 10 years but there are too many stamps/visas on it.

My question is what happens if I dont mention a few dates?

Secondly once a visa previously is issued by a caseworker(around 6 years ago) is there anyway it can be overturned if a current caseworkers finds any irregulairty in it?

1. See 2.3.6.
2. You must list all absences from UK, irrespective of whether your passport was stamped with exit/entry dates or not.

Then you may be accused of lying / deception. So, if you know the dates of your absences, mention them truthfully.

Don't ask me how will they find out if there are no stamps in your passport.

but if an absence stamp is not in your passport is missing, can they not determine from your passport especially if there is an entry stamp into another country.
