baby to born 20 days before applying for ILR - need advice

Post by hsmp_tw3 » Tue Dec 01, 2009 5:43 pm

Hi,

I am in similar situation

http://www.immigrationboards.com/viewtopic.php?t=43368

expecting baby 20 days before being eligible for ILR

1. How can I apply for ILR of child with me as dependent if he does'nt have his passport ?

2. Do I need to get baby's passport and send it with mine and my wife ?

3. Is it possible that I and my wife apply for ILR and after getting it apply for child registration (MN1) ? or that is not an option since child is born before we get ILR ?

please reply

1. They can endorse child's ILR on a piece of paper. However, see also need for a dependent visa?
2. No.
3. Yes.

Hi vinny,

thanks for reply.

To 3rd question you said yes.

Is this yes to the question 'Is it possible that I and my wife apply for ILR and after getting it apply for child registration (MN1) ?' OR 'that is not an option since child is born before we get ILR ?'

because if your answer is Yes to ''Is it possible that I and my wife apply for ILR and after getting it apply for child registration (MN1) ?'' that means i should not include child in my and my wife's ILR application and should apply for child registration (MN1) after we get ILR and we are not travelling with child and can wait.

Please clarify, thanks
