fast track passport application appointment after MN1 proces

Hello,
Does anyone know when you book the appointment for one week fast track passport appilication over the phone(after MN1 process), do they ask for any registration certificate reference number or so?
I believe my son's registration certificate(after MN1 process) would arrive in next 20-25 days (just an estimate) so thinking of booking for an appintment in few days.

So was wondering, when I call for appointment, would they as for registration certificate detials?

I have no idea but wouldn't it be quicker just to phone IPS and discover yourself? Please let us know the answer.

Thanks All.
Yes I called the IPS help line on 27 Oct(Saturday) and appointments were available for 12th till 17th Nov. The lady was happy to explain me the process and booked my appointment without asking for registration certificate details. All she asked me was my name, n address (as per their process) and then my son's name and dob. and booked the appointment.
