The Home Office advice has not changed so far:

Can you look at the timeline thread where the user posted today instead of turning the general discussion topic into a repetitive, duplicate timeline thread.

Okay I agree shouldn’t have asked for timeline here, but I specifically asked for where he contacted? number of peoples contacted many different emails and get responses from. Early May, i was replied by NationalitySupportTeamFMT@homeoffice.gov.uk that decision made, but since i send them twice the email about decision letter, they didn’t reply ... so in asking people where they contacted ...

Hello All,

Just wanted to share my experience. I am still waiting for the decision on my naturalisation application submitted on 3rd May 2019. Its been 1 year and still no news.. Refugee route, 10 years in the UK with ILR and still waiting. I had 2 traffic offences back in 2013 which are now fully clear.. I received an email from CT6 unit (I don't know which unit that is whether they are case workers or not) informing me that application is still on going and they will make decisions as soon as they can.. This is after I sent several emails requesting for an update. I'm sure there are a lot of people like me still waiting so just wanted to tell that you are not alone.
Hi
Have you still got no news on your application?

Hi all,

For anyone who has received confirmation (approval) via email, can I ask what the subject line of the email was? I'm a bit concerned that mine may have gone into junk or spam... Did you have this experience at all?

Thanks,

Emelia

applied on 09.02.2020
I have notice later on that i was half day abroad that day 5 years ago will that be a problem?

I did contact the home office however there was a generic reply:

Thank you for your email.
Your application is currently progressing through the system as normal, applications are currently taking approx. 6 months to process, however due to the current corona virus pandemic this may take longer as UKVI is operating with reduced staffing levels as per current government guidelines.
We will contact you should we require any further information or once a decision has been made.
Kind regards,
UKVI

Hello everyone.

I have an application submitted on 24.02.2020 and I just realized few weeks ago that unfortunately I don't meet the physical presence exactly 5 years before that as I was back home on 23.02.2015 for a week .
I emailed HO on every email possible telling them about that and if possible to re date my application or at least give me any decision so I can start a fresh one ,but no answers what so ever.
I just emailed my MP today asking him for help in this matter .

Any advices please of anything more I can do?

Thanks in advance

From what I've seen on this forum, in these cases the caseworker is usually asking the applicant to "redeclare" their application, so the date would change. If that would be the only issue with your application, I highly doubt that it would be rejected. It's fixable.

I just want to know if nowadays everyone getting the approval/confirmation of Naturalisation application by email? As far as I remember one of my friend got it by post in early 2019.
Apologies for the silly question, but I am bit baffled whether to check email or post everyday.
Thanks

This is due to the current situation with many UKVI staff presumably working from home - whether this is the new preferred communication is not known.

I had my biometrics taken in march just before the government shutdown and back then the woman in the office told me I will receive my answer via email, so my assumption is that it is now preferred method.

Hey,

I got this email by contacting <nationalitysupportteamfmt@homeoffice.gov.uk> on 1st week of may, after that I contacted them 3 times about decision letter but they did not reply.

I also contacted <FurtherNationalityEnquiries@homeoffice.gov.uk> mentioning previous correspondence but they said they forwarded my progress request to relevant department to reply back, but no emails about decision so far ...

If anyone know where else should I contact, please let me know.
