ILR to Citizenship application

Post by Askh » Tue Sep 10, 2019 5:12 pm

Hi All

I request all the members who have applied or are aware of the process to apply for citizenship from ILR.
Please help me with detail information about how to go about with the application process.

My background is

I received my ILR last year in August converting from Entrepreneur visa .

Me , my wife and son ( 7 years old , born in UK) are currently on Indefinite Leave to Remain. My understanding is that after a year I can apply for citizenship along with my wife but my son need to do registration first .

Could you please outline the detailed process for me .

Thanks and Best Regards to all.

Askh

Your UK born son did not need ilr. He could have registered as British as soon as either parent got ilr.

Thank you all for the replies ,

@ Aman, the form you mentioned is for people living in Channel Island , Isle of Mann or any British Overseas territory. I live in Scotland which form should I be looking for?

Form AN online.

The link to the paper form was likely posted purely for information and if you had queries.
