Can we apply for Child Benefit?

Post by gdk199 » Sun Dec 06, 2020 7:06 pm

Hi,
My wife and me got ILR in October, but my child has not got ILR. We will apply citizenship for him January next year. Could we apply for the Child Benefit now or have to wait for him to get the UK passport?
Thank you

Yes. It is the parents that claim not the child.
