But when she switched to ILR Dependant, her ILR clock reset to zero and now she can apply for ILR in August 2020. She will also need to apply for another FLR (M) in January 2018.
Did your wife get a Tier 2 Dependant visa or did she get a Tier 2 visa in her own right? If the latter, did she get a T2 General or a T2 ICT visa?Vamseek wrote:I got my Tier 2 General on Jun 2010 and got my ILR on Jun 2015. I got married on Dec, 2011 and my wife got her Tier 2 visa on Apr 2012 which was valid until Jan 2013. She came to UK in Apr 2012.
The gap means that the Tier 2 visa issued in November 2013 is not an extension of the older visa issued in April 2012, but a new visa issued under the rules after July 2012. So, assuming that she is on a dependant visa, she will have to apply for an extension and will be eligible for ILR in November 2018.Vamseek wrote:But She had a gap of around 14 months(from Sep 2012 until Nov 2013).

As your child was born abroad, your child's status will be in-line with the mother's. Had s/he been born in the UK, s/he could have been registered as a British citizen when you got ILR.

could anyone please help me ?
My husband came to UK on Feb 2011 with Tier1 General visa.
i think he is eligible for ILR in Feb 2016
I got my Tier 1 depedent visa on March 2013 and came to Uk in the year June 2013. My visa expiry date is same as my husband in Feb 2016.
Am i eligible for ILR like my husband in Feb 2016? No, you need 5 years residence to qualify for ILR. If not, should I go for any extensions. Which form i need to fill ? how many years will they give the extension?? PBS Dependent form for an extension and probably for 2 or 3 years.
Can me and my husband go on the same day for visa with the same appointment? I am not clear what should i do. Yes, his appointment first and then yours a couple of hours later.
Please help
