Hi Guys,
My story
wife got the 2.5 based on FLR (FP)
we both has two British kids
I am british
we got married last year and now want to switch to spouse visa.
my wife just got a job with NHS three months ago,
I dont want to add her employment to the application because i meet the financial requirement ( i earn above £50k). is it safe to do so ?
My problem now on the documents that need to be provided by us
1. on our electricity and gas statement.. we have MR and MRS on it and we can get two years on this as i added her sometime last year. is this enough ?
2. I am the one paying all the bills and this can be seen in my bank statement, she dont have anything on her name with our current address ... we have lived together for two years now ....what she has on her name is : a) Bank statement b) full UK driving license c) letters from doctors during births of our kids d) and maybe one or two letters from HMRC
I dont know what to do as i plan in submitting this form by Friday
Any advise please, i will really appreciate it
Thanks alot

If you meet the financial requirements I wouldn't add hers as the home office people can get confused (it happens quite easily).
I had the same problem, as we have a private Landlord and all the bills are in his name. We just sent what we had in our names, 6 bills each within the 2 years period, if you send more is not a problem and we explained this in the cover letter. I wrote also in the cover letter that I work but because he meets the financial requirement I decided not to include my income as well.

Thanks very much on this..
regarding the documents.. must it be January to December of each year or just one for each year. for example... One doc showing jan 2016, another showing august 2017 etc?
Thanks very much for this

Evidence of cohabitation for the 2 years is NOT based on 'calendar years'. It is the two years immediately preceding the date of application. You need items from 6 different sources spread evenly, every 3 to 4 months, over the 2 year period.

Lastly, I am confused with this statement.
My wife got her papers based on our daughter who is a british under the FLR FP route.
Now the below question
Is your current entry clearance or leave to remain
as the partner of one of the following?
a British citizen
a person settled in the UK
a person with refugee leave or a person with
humanitarian protection in the UK
I assumed this is asking if her current visa is based on a partner route ...I said NO..
Wondering if it is YES based of a British citizen.
Thanks In advance

This question is referring to YOU/the Sponsor. You've said you're British in your first post, therefore the answer is
a British citizen.

Op's partner got flrfp based on the relationship with British kids. So op is right to say no as he already selected.

But the question is refering to her current immigration status and is NOT as partner of a British citizen but as a parent or am I understanding it wrong?

I left it as NO.. Because she is the parent of a british child currently under FLR FP and not under Spouse Visa

While work has taking me seriously and leaving this application on hold for a while.
I am reviewing the application one last time before hitting the summit button.
However, i have the following question regarding the declaration / consent part.
few questions on the consent
1. is the account with a bank or utility company for which you have supplied information and
supporting documentation held jointly by you and other people ? ans = NO
was wondering if this is correct as me and my wife name is in the gas and electricity bills but i am the one providing the financial cover.
2. does the account with the bank or utility company for which you have supplied information and supporting documentation relate to another person who is to provide financial support ? ans = NO
Is this correct?
Thanks very much guys

Hi Guys,
can anybody assist me with this
I have done my wife application since 7th of march 2019.
However, my daughter will be starting Nursery in September and i have applied for the 30 hours child care based on the fact that me and my wife are working full time.
In my wife application, i did filled that i am not taking any benefits at the time of the application.
Does the child care count as benefits?
Do i need to inform HO of this development or its something i dont have to worry about?
Any advise will be much appreciated
