Sounds like you will need to apply to extended your visa. Generally recommended that you apply within the 28 days prior to your current expiry date so the residency requirements for ILR will eventually be met. You can apply online for further leave to remain (FLR) using the link provided from the website below, which also has an overview of the requirements you will have to meet.Jchapman84 wrote: ↑Sun Oct 27, 2019 8:08 amHello,
Im Canadian, currently living in the UK under a 'Spouse/Partner Leave to Enter' residence permit. My permit will expire in 6months and I'm confused on what to do next? I have been living in the UK for two years...... is the next step to renew my residence permit???? If so what form do I use....??
Many Thanks

5 year route. Any spouse visa issued on or after 9th July 2012 is the 5 year route under Appendix FM. There is no longer a 2 year route option.but Ive come to complete the form and am confused on if I am on the 2year route or the 5year route......
