Try to enquire from other airports in different cities as there might be some flights available from there. At the moment there hasn't yet been any policy announced by the UK immigration authorities facilitating the visa holders (none-chineese) to travel on their expired visa vignette.Mfamily wrote: ↑Sat Mar 21, 2020 8:01 pmMy flight was tomorrow from Pakistan but Pakistan cancelled all the flights from today till 4th of April and my spouse visa validity is 2th of April.. Of course there is a possibility, but nobody here can provide any certainty if or when that will happen and there are many other things the government is focused on right now. Your best bet for an official answer is probably to try contacting the immigration helpline, the details for which are in the link seagul posted.
What does this guidance means? It's not clear for them who got 30 days sticker and can't travel in 30 days anyone can explain?geoeng wrote: ↑Sun Mar 22, 2020 7:48 amOf course there is a possibility, but nobody here can provide any certainty if or when that will happen and there are many other things the government is focused on right now. As far as I am aware, there is still no guidance relating to those who have been issued entry clearance but are unable to travel to the UK. The most recent official information is at the link below, but is directed primarily at those already in the UK who need to apply for extensions or are unable to leave. Again, this guidance directs any unaddressed queries to the coronavirus immigration helpline.Mfamily wrote: ↑Wed Mar 25, 2020 1:55 amWhat does this guidance means? Will they ask me question why you came here at this situation.. You should start your own topic to ask your questions instead of tagging onto another members thread please.smah wrote: ↑Tue Mar 31, 2020 2:00 amHi Mfamily,
Congratulations on getting the visa and hope your family is well. Did you manage to get together with them?
I have made an application and meet the finance by having savings in Foreign account. Basically I have been holding the fund for more then a year then realised that the bank I was holding it in was blacklisted. So I had to move the money to a approved bank and then made application with my statement from previous bank and the new which covers from September 2018 til now.
Also the rest of the packings are met by benefits my wife receives plus third party guarantor.
Could someone kindly guide me if this can work and what are your experiences. I can provide the amount details if needed for better judgement.
Thanks guys
