Appendix 1.7 guidance only refers to applicant & its UK sponsor (partner).

Appendix FM 1.7: Financial Requirement August 2017 NO 4 says that there are 5 ways to meet financial requirements one of them is

@"Cash saving of app/partner above £16000 held for more than 6 months" i have savings of more than £27000 for more than 10 months.
on top of that i have about 11 months’ payslip for 19200 pay per year.
please advise can i use only those savings for British spouse visa application outside uk

7.1.3. Category D: Cash savings cannot be combined with self-employment income, or with
income from employment as a director or employee of a specified limited company in the
UK, under either Category F or Category G: see section 9 of this guidance. Category D:
Cash savings also cannot be combined with part (2) of Category B: salaried and
nonsalaried employment: see section 5 of this guidance.
