Hi,

Thanks for the updates!! Yeah the waiting time is dreadful and painful at the same time!! I just think that after us paying the priority fee, they should at least give us acknowledgement (to be fair they should offer the same service to non-priority too) as the visa fee is the same amount and isn't cheap. Just wish there was better customer services offered and that we could track our case online, they don't even give us the option to do that. My 30 working days is literally few days after yours... so hopefully the time will go quick and we hear very soon.

Patience is a virtue right now... :)

No... :( Not heard anything... I got that automated email where they say they have received my online application and if I haven't sent my documents to send it now... etc (the usual standard email) but nothing since...! Will you escalate on 19th? It's so stressful... :(

Yes I will escalate on 20th, to give them the full 30BD.

I have seen in other forums that the home office have sent the made decision email on 12th June to the people who have applied 2 weeks before us.

I am worried about my documents, and the fact that they have not even contacted my employer.

I hope not long is left.

Yeah, I want to give them the full 30 working days too before I contact them...

I've seen a lot of people talk about other forums, but I only know this one!!

I understand what you mean when you say you are worried about your documents, I am thinking the same too... but I am hoping we are only thinking this because we haven't heard anything... so no news... is good news right? (lets think positively, even though it's so difficult to do so!) I believe they haven't contact my employer yet.. and they haven't contacted me either.

InshAllah, we should hear soon... and yes... guess we need to get busy with the WC! haha!

Take care & hopefully we both have good news soon!! :)

I have managed to escalate the case today.
Visa centre helpline escalated my case and said it will take 15 working days to hear from home office, if not, it needs to be escalated again in 15 working days.

Hey,

This is what confuses me, how did you escalate your case before it's even been '30 working days' because in the automated email they mentioned the following: "We regret that we are unable to respond to enquiries asking about the status of any application" - So we can escalate before 30 working days? Even if they don't tell us what status it is at?

Your 30 days was up on 19th June right? :)

So when you called them, what did you say and how did you tell them you wanted to escalate the case?

Well the visa helpline person who answered the phone did not calculate the 2 bank holidays and she thought my 30 days was Friday, she took some generic details such as passport number, IHS number, GWF number and sent a reminder i guess to home office.
Thats it.

Hey congrats!!! Great news!! I hope i hear very soon too now.

They emailed me yesterday actually, to say to provide them with a prepaid envelope to send the documents back... (i did... but will re-send it)

I haven't called yet, if I don't receive any email tomorrow, I'll call them...!

What's "TSL" ? & what's the TSL website? Does that give you an indication where your application is at?

I'm very happy for you... pray I hear the same good news too!

Take care :)

Thanks...

My wife is in Pakistan and on that website... Pakistan isn’t even there for an option to select! Yours was Turkey right?! So I’m guessing Turkey was there as an option!

I hope they’ve given her the visa ... it’s just waiting for the confirmation...

Thanks for your help :)

So I called them today like an hour ago and after giving them my GWF number he said it’s still awaiting decision...! So he said he’s escalated the case for me and I should hear in the next 15 working days... did they say the same to you too? He counted my days since biometric and he thinks it’s been 31 days today...

I hope I hear soon... can they email on weekend too to say your passport is ready for collection?

Thanks

You were right... :)

She picked up her passport today with visa issued. I hope everyone else waiting receive a rapid response... it's a horrible experience playing the waiting game.

hope all is well with you.

Take care.

Hi Seagul,

I attached the following:

* My Job letter from employer
* 6 months payslips
* 6 months bank statements
* P60
* House inspection (to say there is enough room in the house for my wife)
* Council bill
* Utility bill
* Copy of my passport
* My wifes IELTS certificate
* My wifes TB
* Her passport
* Extracts of whatsapp chats
* Whatsapp calls
* Pre wedding photos, wedding photo's and honeymoon photo's
* Honeymoon airline ticket
* Nikkah certificate
* My wife's ID copy

I believe that was pretty much it. I put in her degree certificate as she educated abroad (but it was a recognised British university)

Alhumdulillah it was enough for them to grant the visa...!
