ILR Eligibility - Tier1/HSMP + WP Dependent

Post by goelashish » Mon Dec 21, 2009 5:08 pm

Hi,

I have been in UK on WP dependent with my wife as main WP holder. Then we switched, I became HSMP holder and she moved to HSMP dependent. On HSMP extension we moved on to Tier1 and about to complete 5 years in UK.

I would like to know are we eligible to apply for PR.

Does tier1/HSMP + WP dependent work?

Thanks

Time spent as dependent is not counted.
Also i am afraid when you switch to dependent your previous time spend on WP primary / HSMP - Tier1 - Main applicant is also gone .... I hope i am wrong.

Wait for seniors to respond

I think I did not make it clear.

The order is WP Dependent, then HSMP and now on Tier1.

You cannot count time spent as dependent for ILR. Your clock started when you switched to HSMP. Below link should help.
