congrats jiewo1sheng, did you pay for the appointment (how much?) or took the free one? Sheffield is one of the options I am considering too hence the question.jiewo1sheng wrote: ↑Fri Dec 28, 2018 3:13 pmQuick update from me. - Set (M) Application.
I had my appointment today at Sheffield premium service centre at 9 am, visa granted at 10:24 am.
Everything went smoothly, one thing I have confirmed that application date is online submission date not the appointment date sadly. Hope everyone will receive their visa granted soon. Happy new year to all.![]()
JulianaCG wrote: ↑Fri Dec 07, 2018 4:20 pmI am on the same situation.
I sent an email to the Front End Services Team and this is the response I got
I can confirm that as long as your appointment is within the 28 days we will treat your application as though it was sent at the correct time.
Apologies this took some time to respond to, we needed confirmation from the relevant teams.
I am still worried as I know email correspondence are not that accurate.
I am waiting for members that already passed their application to respond to us.

Many congratulations for getting the ILR.
I have a question:
Did you fill up online set(O) form?
If yes, was there a question regarding countries lived in/visited before coming to UK?
If yes, did you live in or visit any country other birth country? If yes, did you make entry for that?
Hi please could you specify how can you proceed with the refund? I have the same situation now and very frustrating, as I applied ONLINE on 9.12.2018, but 5 years ends 14.02.2019, which makes me eligible to apply from 18.01.2019, but I didn't know when applied as followed the old rules, and now don't know what to do. Go there and try, but maybe they refused based on my early application, or it will be ok. Therefore, I'm looking for option when I could cancel and refund, and apply again from 18.01.2019. Thank you very much in advance! Asemzhzaidi14 wrote: ↑Tue Nov 13, 2018 12:12 pmI suggest you apply for refund and then re submit the application when you are eligible within 28 days. Similar situation happen to me with IHS payment and I have received refund in 3 working days. Also try to pay through credit card as give you more security for refund through card company in case of any problem with HO.
You should have scheduled your appointment when you qualified and let the application process run as the rules can be somewhat flexible in discretion on when the caseworkers can use specific dates for Set M. The original poster of this topic received their ILR without any issues even though they applied too early.
