Hi all,
I am a British citizen. i got married a year ago in India which was an arranged marriage. I couldn't be happy after marriage as soon as I found our my wife being a narcissist type of person.
So, here is a short story. We got married in March 2018 and then she came here in the UK on visit visa 3 months after. She came on visit visa as she wanted to come soon in the UK and then I found out about her character and decided not to apply for her spouse visa. I took her back to India. I gave her verbad divorce and planning to process it in India.
My question is - Will I also need to declare the divorce in someway in the UK? What marital status information does UKBA got on their system? I have sponsored her as a Husband when we processed her vistor visa. I am also wondering if I want to do divorce her in the UK, then she may also claim half of my property.
Please can someone kind shed some light to me. I am emotionally drained and not able to think much at the moment.

Just divorce her in india. Your marital status now is married and after divorce will be divorced.
The opinion expressed as above is neither a professional advice nor contesting/competing to other member's opinion/advice.

Can i not marry someone here before I officially divorce her in India? Cause my familty have to suffer a lot after I divorce her as her family got political hold in India. So, I am in messed up situation.

No you can't marry. UKVI only acknowledge a marriage as valid where both partners were free to marry. In my opinion in now a days the decision of marriage should be done very carefully especially where the partner is from outside the family.

Members don't have the privilege of the PM facility until they have contributed 30 posts on the open forum.

Please don't send me PMs asking for immigration advice on posts that are on the open forum. If I haven't responded there, it's because I don't have the answer. I'm a moderator, not a legal professional.

This is 30 genuine posts...not simply in order to access the PM facility. In fact, to the best of my knowledge seagul may not currently have the ability to send and receive PMs.

Maybe but asking question in open forum is more better because you will get wider range of opinions leading to best solution. Many people who even have pm facility but they don't use it. In my case I only use mobile version of site which neither shows my status/rank/number of posts and equally of others too which I believe is also out of interest for most of us. Most important thing is the inner honest spirit to help others which reward GOD will automatically give you.

It seems that you are also posting in different topics under the user names of
labak.
fasar00786 and
farial00786
As this isn't permitted under the Board Ts&Cs, please decide which name you wish to use and the others will be deactivated.
member/labak/posts/
member/fsar00786/posts/
member/farial00786/posts/
It also causes confusion when members are dodging between different threads, to advise you on the same issues.

I also suspected same but I remained silent afterwards because two similar queries one after other can't be a coincidence.
