NTL (the transfer to BRP) when acknowledgement letter recieved?

Dear members,

I really need your help. I want to know whether you got an acknowledgement letter/email after submitting your biometric information and all documents required or not.

I got the IRL visa in 2003 and transferred it to my new passport (at the time) in 2006 (NTL).
Then, I applied for NTL (the transfer from a stamp to BRP card) online because I wanted to apply for a new job.

This application was standard service at Croydon.

Payment Confirmed: 4th April 2019
The submission of my biometric information: 18th April 2019

The officer who checked my documents told me that I did not have to submit any other documents and all done well.

Since then, more than 2 and a half months have passed, but I have not got the acknowledgement letter/ email yet.

Is it normal?

With postal application, I believe that the letter usually arrived 2 moths later after the submission. But, I do not know whether the applicants can receive it or not when applying online and standard service (not premium service).

If ANYONE HAS ANY IDEA, PLEASE PLEASE LET ME KNOW.I have become worried about my application now.

I really appreciate your help.

You don't get acknowledgment letters with the new system.

But according to other members they have to submit proofs of address and continuous residences.

Thanks for your reply. So, with the new online system, we no longer get the acknowledgement letter, do we?
I gave all required documents -of course the current address and proof of continuous residency.
Now, we have to at least wait for 6 months with standard service to get a BRP card even if I just wanted to transfer my indefinite resident visa to BRP.
Is it correct?
Then, I cannot change my job until I get BRP card. That's a long way.
