This is an area where we hope some improvements come in from HO because as far as I know and stand to be corrected an learn from others, you can not reduce the amount of IHS payment or duration of visa extension, it goes for the full period.avaismohammad wrote: ↑Wed Oct 21, 2020 7:52 pmHi All,
Slightly concerned on how should I handle my scenario.
I am applying for my Wife's PBS Dependant extension visa (my last CoS was <3 years and now I have ILR) which will expire just 2 months before her ILR eligibility.
Now, I dont mind extending again for 2 months when the time comes (<3 years, paying the upto 3 years fee) but what about IHS then? do I pay £625 * 3 for a mere 2 month extension or I can put the visa expiry as under 6 months while paying IHS?
Any help appreciated.
Many Thanks

It is not a problem when I am wrong, it shows others got more knowledge and becomes a problem if I don't learn from such persons or take correction.avaismohammad wrote: ↑Wed Oct 21, 2020 8:09 pmThanks for the reply,AmazonianX wrote: ↑Wed Oct 21, 2020 7:58 pmThis is an area where we hope some improvements come in from HO because as far as I know and stand to be corrected an learn from others, you can not reduce the amount of IHS payment or duration of visa extension, it goes for the full period.avaismohammad wrote: ↑Wed Oct 21, 2020 7:52 pmHi All,

I really hope someone says otherwise (not to prove you wrong mate) for my peace of mind, it does not affect me currently but I am gonna lose some sleep over this when the time comes haha. Its so absurd to be charged such a ridiculous amount only for 2 months!
Hi CR001,
