Tier 2 G redundancy- Can dependant work until curtail date ?

My employer terminated me today due to redundancy my question is Can dependant work until curtail date ? My wife works for another company and she is currently under tier 2 G Partner / Dependant visa. What is the best solution here.

If my wife's employer is ready to sponsor can I then become a dependant visa holder ? Also If leave to India will the Cooling off period apply ?

I am applying for tier 2 general visa next week inside UK and this is due to change of employer. My wife is already in UK for past 6 months, for her maintenance fund

1. Can she use her bank statements ? or
2. Can I apply after 1 month after my visa arrives is that ok ? will I have problem ?

Please this is a little urgent , a quick answer could save us some money and confusion.

I think she may use her bank statements (f).

If your dependants' leave were not curtailed, then they may extend shortly before their leave expires.

Note that if your wife applies at the same time as you she doesn't have to show maintenance. The only thing you will achieve by her applying separately and later is the deferment of the payment of her visa fee, the expiry date of her visa will in any case be the same as yours.

If she chooses to apply separately maintenance can also be certified by means of a letter from your sponsor in which case she doesn't need any bank statements.
