Now the big question is when will I get the certificate of application or the document which I can present to my employer proving I can work?

Also do I need to pass life in uk for British citizenship or PR? Sorry if it's a silly question.
Hi Hunpak,

You should receive your cert. Of application anytime soon, also you don't need to pass a life in the uk test for PR application only if you're applying for a british citizenship you will need one.

Hi Guys,

Good to be part of this forum. I need a clarification please. I lost my foreign passport which has my residence permit of 5 years but due to expire soon. Therefore,I am eligible to appy for EEAPR in a matter of time. Can anyone tell me what to do in a situation whereby one losses his foreign passport? Do I need to conctact the home office to notify them of the loss?
Someone,help out!

Shakzy.

I got my permanent residency today.I posted my application for EEA4 on the
15/11/2014 money taken on the 18/11/2014 COA received dated 01/12/2014
and I requested my passport back vial the online form on 28/02/2015 and exactly 10 working days later which was today received my documents back with the permanent residency stamp dated 08/03/2015 am not sure whether requesting my passport speeded up the application but am chuffed about it anyway but the looks of things they should now be dealing with applications submitted around November time

Hi sorry to bother you, i just wanna know if you fill ( Section 11 - Spouse, civil partner or durable partner
of the sponsor)?

Am just asking as the form says we should only fill the part that is applicable to you. and it also says If you have answered yes to question 9.3, you do not have to complete the rest of this section –
go straight to section 16 instead. However, we reserve the right to ask you for more information
if necessary

Pls update

Thanks

For PR for non eea application where eea is exercising treaty rights as self employed , can I ask if invoices to customers needs to be provided needs to be for the entire 5 years ??

The tax and Ni already covers the entire 5 years.

I have answer yes to question 9.3 Becz my wife received her PR Certificate last month and I submit PR Certificate with application but form is so confusing and not clear after ticking 2.4 question and they ask you to fill relevant section 11 so thats why I have completed section 11

Hi - Have you Tried 0300 123 2253 - Option 2. or 0300 123 2241. Takes a long time (10 to 15 minutes) to get someone in the line but someone will pick up.
Thanks
