Currently im holding 5year RC as a famlily member of eea national (my dad) my dad is exercising his treaty rights as self employed since 2008.i came in the uk on a student visa in 2010 and in 2011 I got RC ( over 21 child dependent on my dad).

After getting my RC im self employed since that time . regarding my PR application do i need to provide dependncy on my dad or what ?

what do i have to include in my PR application?

thanks
As an older dependant over 21 on your dad who is your sponsor, you will need to show that you have been solely financially dependant on him for the qualifying 5 years. This includes regular monthly transfers from his account to your account, prove you live at the same address where he pays the bills, rents or owns and receipts of any type of expenses he covers for you (in the case of students accommodation costs, books, food and basic essentials).
Once you start working and earning your own money then it becomes harder to even qualify but under the new forms there is nothing on there to declare if you have ever worked so I think you'll be able to get away with this if you have all the necessary documents mentioned above. Good luck with your application!

thanks buddy

Well it depends what the etc are.

But you have to have in mind that you are applying as a family member of an EEA national, and your EEA national has the right to exercise her treaty.

In the other hand she should be finical capable to sponsor you not to depends on public fund.
Base on the cash payment she receive as an income, she needs to provide an evidence and a prove that she declares it to the HMRC

If she is making less that £45.000 per year she is entitle to receive child benefit of £82 for the first child.

Child tax credit is a form of prove that she is on a low income.

As I said she is entitle to any benefit she can get but the fact is” is it to your benefit”

It looks like they are approving the January applications now so yours might be on its way to you soon but if your travel plans are urgent then I urge you to request for it because it takes a while. Doing this might even cause them to look at your file and approve your application and send your PR together with your passport: this happened to me during my RC application. However I don't think it will put you behind the queue as everyone has the right to this. Doing that will be sheer discrimination!
Thank you K7bs.

Well you can get an advice from solicitor if you are not sure. To be honest I don’t know what is RC
Or you can apply for EEA2 hence you wife is working just show them the prove of income and that’s should be fine

4. As I am working( Non EEA) from since last five years.

oliver,
for your first question im not sure, in general people apply like 1 month before their residence card expore so October for you, however I think some solicitor say we can apply 5 years after a couple has been living together (evidence of council tax, tenancy agreement ...) however not all solicitors do that.... you should ask few lawyers about that point ... don't ask just 1 but few ...

And, as far as I know and been told by sollicitoir getting child benefit and child tax credit is YOUR RIGHT IN THIS COUNTRY. so shouldn't be any problem. and if your wife has been working for the last 5 years so that's great, that means she is exercising her treaty rights and hopefully you will get your PR. as for you being working that doesn't matter if you work or no because that's your spouse who has to provide financial help for you

so good luck !!!! :D
Thank you suzannedel

I applied for PR ...EEA4 in 27 january 2015
COA received in February 2015
passport requested back in february 2015
Received PR on the 29 May 2015
issued on the 19th may 2015

One important thing is l never waited for residence card to expire before l applied for PR.
I had 5 months left on my residence card eea2 when l applied for PR eea4 and it was granted.
You can apply once your marriage is 5 yrs

Thats my story Guys.
Good luck

Hi,
To the best of my OWN knowledge, i believe you have to submit your five year proof of working and your wife.. i dont think the gap in her five year working is an issue but you have proof how she was self sufficient during those periods...
Moreso, tax or child credit should not be an issue though l have not claimed any of those benefit before n now.
Her treaty right is her working or self sufficient in the UK with proof.
Plus proof of living together in the last 5yrs such as tenancy agreement, council tax, bank statements joint and individual...
ur payslips and p60.
I only submitted 2 payslips in a year for 5 yrs with 5 p60 and my wife...
Hope that helps.
Pls remember this my personal advise n experience

still waiting

We are going abroad on 1 July so we are going to wait couple days and then request documents back :/

Our application is (I think) straight forward.

My OH has been here since 2006 (came on a visa and a work permit), we have been living together since 2007, got married in 2009.
I have been working since I came to the UK in 2007 and provided all my contracts of employment, P60 for every single year (starting from 2007) and P45. I was also required to register under WRS so I provided a copy of the certificate and payslips for each month I was required to be registered under WRS.
We also provided council taxes bills to prove we have been living together, marriage certificate (we got married here), passports.
My Oh currently has a spouse visa which was granted in 2010 for 5 years.
hi anwm
i have got same time line as you . can we be in touch please if there is any news . thanks and all the best

With grace of Almighty God received my PR today..
So relax and received
It took almost 5months.
Thanks everyone here for help and support.
Good luck for all who are waiting.
Furthermore,have a question here
PR is sticker on passport and 3 letters from HO.
1-addresses to my name(said ROR granted(as applied on ROR basis but never applied ROR).
2-general letter about PR(rights of PR)holder etc
3-letter from case worker for feedback..
Is this normal for every one.
As in ROR letter it said I have to qualify treaty rights as were an EEA national.A bit confused as I believe after PR do not need to any more....

Applied Eea4 on 10th January 2015.
Refused dated 30th May 2015 due to insufficient proof of completed 5yrs treaty right of sponsor.
Totally confused as the HO kept my passport including my 18 months resident card.
not sure what step to do.. :!: :!:

Hi all,

I really need help and advice from all the great members of the forum.

I have applied for Naturalization since September 2014....case (Ex eea family member with ROR) 6years P60 without PR , after waiting for almost 6 months
In February 2015 I receive a letter asking me to wait for another 3/6 months,

After that in 02/04/15 original passport requested by casework I send it straight away, then I waited for 2 month no reply I decided to call OH for an update but I was told decision have not been made yet but say they would make a decision soon. After that I decided to request for my passport because a new company has take over my work place in order to continue my employment with them they need my passport ,
01/06/15 I made online request for my passport to be return back.

Yesterday receive a letter requesting me to attend an interview in Liverpool and stating they don't need any documents at the interview ....

please has any members recently have the same experience of Naturalization/ Citizenship interview what are the questions they normally ask...... Any experience please, and would they still return my passport before the interview date or not because I really need it for my new job.

Best regards,

Don't worry for this interview call..As I believe this is just a formality.
And this interview will be a sandwich for you...
Regarding questions,,,I think they may ask you about your previous relationship and your current situation..Or they may ask you for some clarifications in your documents.
I did the same few years back but there was no interview at the time.
