Hello All

Please share some guidance on this email we received:

Dear (Wifes Name) ,

The processed visa application for GWF reference number - GWF1234567 was received at the UK Visa Application Centre on 11/20/2015 .
If a courier service was purchased from VFS Global, your processed application will be delivered to the chosen address.

If not, your documents can be collected during the designated passport collection times.

Yes looks like it is ready for collection. Going by your biometrics date looks like you had a quicker response than most. Did You pay for priority service?

Wishing you all the best insha'Allah will be good news.

Hello Pardesi895

No I didn't pay for priority but really worried as I also received my documents back from Sheffield but no photos or call records were given back.

And checked my bank and no IHS has been refunded.

Any ideas on this whether inshallah it will be positive?

Are the visa centres open on Saturdays?

Pardesi895 seems like our time line is fairly close.

Have you had any response or or have you emailed them for an update?

No I haven't escalated or had any response. Reason why I did not escalate was because I thought it might be bit soon yet. I will probably escalate back end of this month. Plz remember me in ur duaas. I used the mirpur vac centre which are a bit more slower than Islamabad in getting decisions from ukba.

Great, thats good news worried1
At last they came back to you, inshallah your visa will be granted.
Regarding the IHS refund, you know we applied before the changes as we paid IHS separately to application. You can login to IHS website (where you paid originally) and if on the website the "request refund" tab has disappeared that means your visa is successful as you wouldn't be able to request a refund after visa is granted/processed, otherwise if it stays or if you get refund in your bank then the visa is unsuccessful. This is what I have learned on the forum from other people's experience but is not 100% true. So don't stress and I pray your visa will be successful.

Hi everyone,

Need some advice. I am applying for my visa soon (few weeks max.). Just want to confirm the following:
Do I need to add my original degree in support of English Language?
I ask this as I will be using 2 UK NARIC certificates -
  • One stating that my degree is equivalent to British Bachelor's degree
The other UK NARIC certificate stating that my English language proficiency is equivalent to CEFR C1 level.
I will NOT be submitting any IELTS results.

Thanks
A.

Hi, you must be crazy not to do one of these approved English tests, they change rules every 6 months , check on this link;

@Qasimx25 yes they change rules frequently but as rules stand right now if English Language proficiency can be established through UK NARIC, that is also acceptable. What I need to know is whether I need to add my original degree along with UK NARIC certificates or not?

Hi I have been a silent reader of this forum.
It is very helpful
Thanks to all you guys I have learnt a lot.
I have put in an application for my wife,
she has received the process email, and she is still waiting for
collection date,
since we received the process email I have not received any email for IHL refund
or nothing in my account, also I read on this forum the REFUND REQUEST should disappear, once visa has been processed,
I have been checking and the button is still there, its really confusing.
anyone can shed some light as what is going on please, much appreciated,
