Hi All,
I have applied for the ILR through Tier -1 route (5yr) on 2 Dec 2016, PEO Sheffield. I am self-employed and got the extension as self employed as well. All the docs complete as indicated in the Forms and guidance notes. Following are included in application:

Passports
BRPs
Photos (2)
Bank Statements (Personal & Business)
Payslips
Accountant Letter
CT 600 (2015-2016)
P60s, P45s
Invoices
Official Contract
Cohab letters (As My wife also applied in same application)
First Entry in 19 Nov 2011
No absence more then 90 days from UK

Still the case worker asked me for CT600 for the year 2013-2014 (I dont know why), and gave me letter to post her the original CT600 within 15 days and then she can decide the case, I sent the required CT600 on 3rd Dec 2016 and recieved at the HO on 5 Dec 2016
I am still waiting for any correspondence, so I have few questions:

1) Any idea how much time they require to decide my case? I know they havent written any time frame anywhere; but its a PEO application and still after almost 2 weeks case is still pending.

2) How can I chase my case? any email/ Phone/ or only option is to write the letter to case worker, will it help?

3) £1500 paid extra to get the decision early, still they are taking that much time, so is there anyway I can lodge a case or complain?

Thanks for the replies

Hello Everyone

Could you please suggest me best course of further action in my case:

I applied on 7th of December same day appointment, I was told no further documents required and decision will be made next day as Home Office facing an IT issue but until now I have not heard anything.

I need my passort very urgent to travel
How long does it take?

Can I request for my only passport to be returned to travel and keep application is in process if possible?

Is there is any way to communicate with Home office?

any help will be much apprecaited.

Good luck to all waiting for outcomes.

My waiting time has been over 9.5 months today. Applied on 1st of April 2016. Anybody had any luck in the new year?

Congrats Leo22. Did you get any reason for this long delay? Did you receive your BRPs yet?

Its six months time for me and still waiting. Applied ILR on July 20 at PEO Croydon on Tier 2 (G).

I have written a letter to my MP asking him to look into my matter just yesterday.

Wish this ILR thing gets sorted out ASAP

Hello Friends,

I received a phone call today from Home Office at 13:00 saying that my ILR has been approved and I should come to collect the documents. BRPs will follow in few days. Thanks to everybody here who guided and helped me in the waiting time of 9 months and 16 days.

I wish all of you best of luck and hope you get your visas soon.

Hi All,

My timeline is as follows:

Applied on 1st of April 2016 at Croydon PEO
Asked to fill in the self assessment questionnaire
Applied on the basis of payee and no self employment
Was self employed + job in 2010 when applied for first time in 2010
Got rejection on the basis that case worker was not convinced that self employment was genuine
Went to court and won the case and got HSMP in 2011
Got extension in 2014 at croydon PEO
And yesterday at 13:00 got a phone call from Home Office that Visa has been granted and asked to collect the documents
Documents collected and now BRP will follow in few days.

Hi All,

I am British national and my wife and 3 children applied for ilr (pre 2012 case, visa was given in an appeal) today at Croydon. After waiting for 5 hours, they told us that they have IT issues and cannot make their check.

They have given us letter saying they will contact us on Monday.

Please share if you have any experience regarding this.

Thanks

No, I am employed and I attached my last 12 payslips and p60. I also provided last 8 months of payslips.

I got Ilr in 2011 and my wife applied for entry clearance on 6th July 2012

Will all members kindly stop pestering co-members for updates.
When that's all there is in a topic its time for the topic to close as such posts add zero value.

Members will update when they have something to say.

This member's case seems very clear - does anyone even bother to read the guy's kind and comprehensive update:
Applied on the basis of payee and no self employment

Hi Friends,

Can anyone guide me what checks Croydon have to make for my wife's ilr application. I thought it should be straight forward as my situation is below

She was issued 27 months visa on appeal as she applied before 9th July 2012.
I am employed and provided all my pay slips and bank statements
All other documents like life in IK , English test and cohabitation papers provided.
They said due to technical issues they can't complete required checks and contact us on Monday
I am confused as I provided everything related to her.

Hey All ,

i went for my 10 years Long Residence premium service and they retained my profile by saying that your application is Valid but we need more assistance. I specifically ask the case worker about exact reason and she said we need your old passports which are already holding by Home office in my last application of Tier 1 Entrepreneur and it was refused but i went for appeal. I withdraw my appeal and went for ILR. She said she sent a request to other department for passports and once she receive she will send the decision. She also confirmed me that there is no issue in you application except missing passports. As per my knowledge in those passports there is only my exit and entry stamps.

Anyone knows how long they normally take to respond in that kind of case ?
Do you think my application has been approved but just becz of missing passports they hold it ??
I haven't been out of UK more then 80 days in my 10 years history.

Thanks

Hi CR ,

Thank you for the clarification. I don't intend to post anything nonsense in forums which are helpful to everyone. I was just curious about what were the PMs that i received about.

I got ilr approved after 83 days in july. I applied for my premium services refund and after 22 days they replied . Because of HMRC delay they hold my apllication and cannot refund me fees. I applied for review of refund and after 1 month recieved call from UKVI and they said because they applied to HMRC for all my accounts and all years details and that took time. So as its third party delay so they cannot refund my fees.

So any body in same situation as i was. I recommend apply by post and save your premium services fees.

For more details go back to review my posts.
Thanks to all.
Hi Smart officer,

Do you mind sharing the format of the letter for applying the Premium services Refund.

Many thanks in advance
