Check the status of your application online - New service

Hi all,
Does anyone know when this online service is likely to come back?
I applied for Tier 2 visa on 18/12/17 and haven’t received an acknowledgement letter yet and it’s well past the 20 days as they said.
I am getting worried what’s happened?? Have they received my documents at all? While the processing time is 8 weeks, Atleast the acknowledgement letter will settle my concern.

My case wasn't
Straight forward cuz i had some debts but not ccj

Dear all,

I have received an approval letter from HO today
Letter is dated 15th Jan, second class
Applied through Camden Council London on 30th August 2017. I’m from Eastern Europe, very clean past, no even a parking ticket!
Did not book a ceremony yet as my details do not appear on council’s system yet, but been told to check again in a few days

Hope this information will help others & good luck to those who are still awaiting their positive reply from Home Office! Be patient I’m sure it’s on it’s way

Congratulations! All the best. Did you go through JCAP?
I applied on 9 October through Brent NCS, JCAP, still waiting!

Still waiting since october. Even sent an email but got the standard reply

No Refund.... i applied on 26th of September 2017... no reply yet.... it all depends on luck

I agree with you it's all luck , we all qualified the delay happens I think when your case goes to unqualified case worker it's not chemistry you had qualified period passed language and lifetest then good character means no offenses or bad history especially when you are in constant employment for more than 6 years paying your bills taxes so why delay? Don't tell me the queue so how those people who applied after you by months it's not a queue it just cases went to incompetent caseworker that's my personal opinion but unfortunately nothing we can do we just need to Wait and hopefully we will get through

I've been waiting since September ...

I have applied by post so thats why i got my approval letter with my documents back with a special delivery
The approval letter dated 23 of January lol just 2 days ago so i think they sent me it by second classs i would receive it next month

If we can’t make a decision within the service standards
If there is a problem with your application or if it is complex, we will write to explain why it will not be decided within the normal standard. We will write within the normal processing time for the 8 week standard and within 12 weeks for the 6 month standard. The letter will explain what will happen next.

So what I did understand from what you are saying is if I have a problem or complex in my case they inform me within 12 week's that's going to take More thank 6 months with the reasons and what is the problem am I right ?

Hello,

I just want to use this medium to thank everyone on this page for the words of encouragement, i applied for my citizenship on 12th Sept 2017. like most people here, i keep waiting for the outcome endlessly even when i know i have meet all criteria i kept doubting myself, i sent an email to Citizenship Support on 5th Jan 2018 and pleaded to know the status of my application, i got an email from one of the staff on 16th Jan 2018 "that she can confirm my documents are currently in a queue waiting to be printed that i will be hearing from them shortly" today i got an approved letter dated 17th Jan 2018 second class mail . my application took 4 months and 5 days. i have book my ceremony for Tuesday 6th Feb as Glasgow council only offer group ceremony every Tuesday, they don't offer private ceremony. Please for those waiting, be patient you will hear positive news, i prayer and wish you all the very best of luck. stay well and God bless.

It simply means that your application is now going to be considered by caseworker for decision. They may have already completed all necessary checks & now assigning your application to a caseworker.

Sent email on the 20 December 2017 to find about my application citizenship.support@homeoffice.gsi.gov.uk
Replied your case is on the queu to a case worker but try to sent another email on the 17 jan 2018 but didn’t receive any answer from HO
Is there any luck for me
