FLR Extension Postal vs Premium

Post by cederwood » Tue Jul 24, 2018 2:57 pm

Hello,

My FLR (first 2.5 years completed; now opting for next 2.5 years) is due in few months. I did some market research on how long it normall ytake for visa to get approved.

However i would still like some advice on if it is viale to make premium or postal application. My partner is British citizen. we both earn via salaried employer and pay tax regularly.

Looking at current scenario, I read that there are many application pending in postal. People are still awaiting even after their visa is expired.
1) Does it not affects employment?
2) Knowing premium application costs more than postal; which works better?

Many Thanks for your response

1) Does it not affects employment?

No it does not. If you submit a postal application before your current visa expires, you are protected by Section 3C of the immigration rules, meaning your existing visa conditions continue until HO make a decision on your visa extension.
2) Knowing premium application costs more than postal; which works better?
Premium obviously, if you can get an appointment. Although bear in mind that a same day decision is not always guaranteed.
