Queries regarding BC

Post by meneab » Sun Oct 13, 2019 2:18 pm

Hello all,

I got my ILR through 5 years tier 2 route and going to apply for BC.

In the online form, it is asking for my past 10 years work history. Should I mention my work experience outside UK as well?

How about part-time jobs outside UK?

Also, should I mention my study experience over last 10 years?

Thanks so much in advance for all your responces.

Best regards,
E

Last 10 years work in UK only. Full time or part time i.e. any work in UK.

Queries regarding 2 references

Post by meneab » Mon Oct 14, 2019 12:22 pm

Hi all,

In the online form, some information was ask regarding the references. One of them is their current address and their past 3 years address.

What if one of my references changes his address while I am waiting for the decision? Should I send their new address to HO? This means I should keep the track of their addresses?

Best wishes,

In the "Guide AN" document, it says:

All criminal convictions including road traffic offences must be reported. Fixed penalty notices (such as speeding or parking tickets) mus be disclosed.

I had 2 parking tickets and one bus lane ticket 2-3 years ago. There was no endorsment on my driving licence and I paid the fine immediatley. Should I mention those tickets in my application?

Thanks,

No. Only if it went to court and you were fined for that.

Thanks for your response. But, it specifically menions that the parking tickets should be reported. Although, the tickets, both parking and bus lane, were issued by the city council and not the police which means they are Penalty Charge Notices (PCN) rather than Fixed Penalty Notices (FPN). It is very confusing :(

Mention the tickets but it will not affect your application.

Trip list

Post by meneab » Fri Oct 18, 2019 3:34 pm

Dear members,

I am now trying to enter my trip list into the online form and it only lets me choose one country as the destination. What if I spent my holiday in 2-3 conntries in one of my absences from the UK?

Has anyone else has the same problem?

Thanks.

Not relevant. Just enter the first country you visited. They care about your absences not what countries you visited

After getting advice and so much thought, I will not declare the tickets in the criminal section as they are not Fixed Penalty Notices. But, I will mention those in the "more details" section just to make sure they know about it!

Documents

Post by meneab » Mon Oct 21, 2019 3:06 pm

Dear all members,

I filled the online application form and booked the appointment for next week (paid £100 extra)!

The followings are the documents I am going to upload in support of my application:

1- Life in the UK test pass notification
2- ILR BRP card
3-Degree certificate from a university in the UK
4- 2 referee's declarations
5- Employer letter approving my absences from the UK
6- My new and old passports covering my 6 years of living in the UK

Regarding the passports, should I scan all the stamped pages? I have traveled a lot due to the nature of my job and have almost all pages of my passports stamped? Is not it confusing uploading more than 40 pages of stamps? I cannot even read them myself?

I appreciate all the help.
Thanks.

Thanks for your response. How about the list of documents. Would they be enough?

I can also scan my last 5 years P60s as aproof of living in the UK!

Just a very silly question! I do not need to download the application form, sign it and upload it. DO I?

Thanks,
Erfan.
