ILR- Tier 2 COS General Dependent

Post by anupthirumaleshwara » Wed Oct 23, 2019 10:50 am

Hello,
My Tier 2 COS General visa is expiring by February 2020, I came to UK in
Feb 2015 along with my family (Wife and 2 kids) on the same day , They are
all in dependent visa. Iam planning to Apply for ILR before the deadline,
My elder son was 13.5 years when we came to UK, he turned 18 in August , he
is a dependent stays with us and is studying Year 14 A level in local
college. My question is on the Online application, Do i need to include his
application form as a dependent along with the same SET(O) application or
Should I use a separate SET(O) form , He has already cleared the Life in UK
test and english language SELT B1?

Iam also planning to get a letter from College on his study certificate and
also his address details.

Please let me know. This would be very helpful.

Thank you for the reply , Is there some specific considerations or recommendations for filling the separate SET(O) form for a dependent.

Tier 2 COS to ILR-28 days

Post by anupthirumaleshwara » Thu Nov 14, 2019 9:50 am

Hi,
My Tier 2 General-COS visa stamp date is 2nd Jan 2015 and validity is until 2nd Feb 2020, I arrived in UK on 12th Feb 2015 and continue to work with the same company and are also providing necessary documents for ILR submission. Question is does my 28 days count for ILR application submission starts on 5th December 2019(2nd Jan -28 days) or should I take 2nd Feb- 28 days which is 5th January.

I have understood that it is visa stamp date - 28 days , but wanted to confirm as Iam applying for myself and my dependents(overall 4 together).
Thanks in advance....
